Year in Review (Favorite Songs & Meditations)

On September 30 Stored in my Heart was launched as a ministry of Cornerstone Church. The purpose was to equip the saints to abide in God’s Word, delight in God’s Word, and obey God’s Word. The website was designed to equip brother’s and sister’s in Christ with practical biblical resources to exercise the spiritual disciplines. The foundation of all spiritual disciplines is the Word of God. Therefore, the site is full of pictures, devotionals, exhortations, and memory devices (namely through song) to help us say with the Psalmist in 119:11 “I have stored up your word in my heart, that I may not sin against God.”

The heart of the site is to produce meditations and songs on passages of God’s Word, written to stir our affections, cause us to meditate on God’s Word day and night, and aid in memorizing Scripture. In just three short months, Stored in my Heart has published 30 meditations from 14 contributors, as well as 26 songs. These meditations and songs have made their way into impacting not only our church here in Dover, DE, but over several thousand people in 38 states and 12 countries.

While we reflect on our short year, we wanted to share with you some of the favorites and most impactful meditations and songs in hopes that you may be reminded of great biblical truth, strengthened in your memory of God’s Word, or simply have the opportunity to listen to and read something you may have missed.
